Illustrator Jenni Sparks returns with a brand new edition of her acclaimed Hand-Drawn Map of London. Built up over years through layered research, redrawing and discovery, this is a portrait of a city that never stands still. Each edition reflects London’s shifting culture, skyline and spirit—with this latest version capturing its most up-to-date form yet.

The 2026 release features hundreds of updates, including renamed Overground lines (Liberty, Lioness, Suffragette and more), new cultural landmarks such as the David Bowie Centre and the London Museum Vaults, and reworked areas like Stratford, Hackney Wick and Elephant & Castle. It’s a rich, detailed snapshot of a city in motion: part artwork, part travel guide, and full of personality.

Every element is hand-illustrated through Jenni’s intricate process—layered isometric buildings, custom typography and offbeat humour fill the map from edge to edge. Spot updated icons for Portobello Road Market, Columbia Road’s floral mayhem, Camden’s buzz, and Shoreditch’s street art sprawl.

Drawn to scale
Unlike the famously abstract tube map, this print offers a more grounded sense of London. Tube lines, Overground routes and major landmarks are mapped with true-to-life spacing, helping you understand how the city fits together on the ground—not just on the network diagram.

As ever, the map is packed with Easter eggs, celebrity birthplaces, obscure references, cultural in-jokes and visual puns. Musical notes drift from Hackney Marshes (a nod to its rave history), @sohoplace Theatre marks a new era for the West End, and yes: that really is Margot Robbie outside Infernos.
