Martina Paukova | Earth Hour Artist Interview

Tell us about yourself?

I am Slovak illustrator living and working in Berlin for almost 3 years now; I moved here after 9 years in London where I also did my studies. I work mostly digitally and my main focus are flattened and character led little scenes. These can be anything from detailed office scenes with humming computers to more life styley pictures where a more fun character or situation appear. I am a big fan of everything seemingly mundane and everyday, there is loads happening underneath the surface! I work mostly commercially, have worked for likes of Apple, Guardian, YouTube, The Economist or The New Yorker etc. More to come hopefully!
